Off-Hook Dialing

In this tutorial, we will discuss the Off-Hook dialing method. This is the method everyone should be familiar with, because it is the method most similar to how you have used your analog home phones for many years.

The biggest drawback to this method is that if you make an error entering digits, you have to hang up the call and begin again.

**IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • Dialing 9 to get an outside line is not necessary

1. Familiarize yourself with the GRP2615 idle screen

2. Lift the handset and begin entering digits on the number pad.

  1. Immediately, the dialer screen pops up and “Dialing” mode is displayed
  2. As you enter digits they will be displayed in the dialer

3. The process is identical whether you are dialing internal extensions or external phone numbers

4. Once you have entered the digits, the Dialer will automatically send the call.

5. Or, to send the call immediately, you can use these 2 methods

  • Press the Soft-Key below the green “Dial” option the LCD display
  • Press the Dial key

6. You Can End The Call Using The 2 Methods Below:

  1. Replace the handset
  2. Press the “End Call” Soft Key under the LCD Display
